"There is nothing which has yet been contrived by man, by which so much happiness is produced as by a good tavern or inn."
Located on the Eastern edge of the Yorkshire Dales, The Queens Head, in the delightful village of Finghall, dates back to the late Seventeenth Century. Full of Character and charm the inn provides a cosy, warm welcome, high quality comfortable accommodation and freshly produced food using the best of local ingredients.
Your hosts, Helen and Ian, and their team offer many years of combined experience in the hospitality industry, both in pubs and hotels. They took on the closed pub back in 2009 as a lease, and bought the freehold in 2012, and since then have strived to continually enhance the property and realise the potential of the site. It’s not finished yet but, when you look for ongoing improvement all the time, it probably never will be.
