Here at the Queen’s Head we are driven by the ‘abiding passion’ , demonstrated by our desire to bring to the table the best of produce from local farmers and suppliers. All of our meat is supplied from Dales farms and local butchers and game dealers, the bread is baked locally and, where possible, we use locally produced fruit and vegetables in season. Don’t be fooled….this is not because we believe that by reducing our carbon footprint we will save the planet!! We just believe that Dales produce is better than any other…… All of our dishes are prepared using fresh ingredients and to your order…some dishes require longer cooking than others and there may be delays at peak times. We believe that dining in good company should be a leisurely experience and, as such, we do not offer ’fast food’ . If you are in a particular hurry please let us know & we will try to hasten you meal, or recommend an alternative establishment with bigger freezers!!
